Manukai
Mid Level
We at Holycode are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Frontend Engineer to join Manukai, a “spin-off” from ETH Zurich developing an “AI copilot” to improve programming of metal machining (CNC) processes.
About the company:
Manukai is a Swiss technology company that develops data-driven software solutions focused on analytics, automation, and decision support. The company designs and builds scalable, production-grade systems that process complex data and translate it into actionable insights for operational and business use cases.
They take historical machining/programming data from a manufacturer (their past production runs, NC-code, machine parameters etc). Afterwards, they use algorithms to analyse and suggest optimal machining programs / process parameters for new parts (or variants) thereby reducing setup time and increasing efficiency. In the end, they integrate into existing workflows and tools (CAD/CAM, machine controllers) with minimal disruption — so manufacturers don’t need to overhaul their system.
About the role:
This role supports Manukai’s core product team in Zurich by extending and maintaining their frontend. You will work on well-scoped tasks and targeted bug fixes that directly improve product development speed and reliability. In close collaboration with their frontend engineers and UX designer, you will translate Figma designs into clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend code that integrates seamlessly into their product.
