Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer - Skribble team

We at Holycode are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer with strong skills and proven experience who is ready to dive into the Skribble team, for a full-time engagement, to join our team of passionate IT professionals, here in our Belgrade office. You'll be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure, making sure our development teams can focus on building great software while you keep everything running smoothly and securely.

Your Toolkit

Here's what you'll be working with day-to-day:

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Kubernetes (5 years of production experience)
• Any major cloud provider (5 years of experience)
• Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible
• CI/CD automation engines

Programming & Scripting:

We believe in using the right tool for the job, so familiarity with multiple programming languages is important. We work with Python, Bash, Go, Java and JavaScript.

Monitoring & Security:

• Monitoring systems: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Security and secret/access management: Hashicorp Vault, Cloudflare, or similar tools
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
• Systems: Good understanding of Linux, networking, and security best practices

Your Day-to-Day

• Build and maintain our cloud infrastructure (scalable and secure, of course)
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Keep our systems reliable, fast, and secure
• Design high-availability systems that don't break
• Jump into incident response when needed and learn from what happened
• Work with our dev teams to make deployments smooth

• Enjoy working independently and building things from scratch
• Are always curious about new tech and ready to learn

Extra Credit

• GitOps experience, especially in Argo ecosystem.
• Know your way around identity management, SSO, SAML/OIDC
• Have worked with Keycloak
• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
• OpenShift experience
