We at Holycode are currently looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer with strong testing skills and a passion for product quality who is ready to dive into the Neon project team, for a full-time engagement, to join our company of passionate IT professionals.

What You'll Do

• Test our mobile banking app to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience.
• Test backend services and APIs to verify functionality, performance, and data integrity.
• Participate in the bug triage process, including reproducing and helping debug reported issues.
• Contribute to different parts of the agile process, including daily stand-ups and backlog grooming.
• Perform testing for app releases and support high-quality production deployments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to maintain overall product quality.
• Play an active role in building our QA knowledge base and test case library, and collaborate with the team as we gradually shape our automation strategy.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing, with a strong track record testing web and mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Hands-on experience testing APIs in a multi-service backend environment, ideally using Postman.
• Strong understanding of core testing principles, including exploratory and risk-based testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with the full defect lifecycle — from reproducing and documenting issues to bug triage, log analysis, and monitoring tools.
• Experience in agile processes, collaborative by nature, and able to communicate issues clearly.
• Strong sense of ownership over product quality, with a proven ability to drive improvements independently.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in fintech or digital banking products.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Antigravity, and genuine curiosity about their role in modern QA.
