Technical Solution Engineer - Zurich Insurance team

We at Holycode are currently looking for a Technical Solution Engineer with strong skills and proven experience who is ready to dive into the Zurich Insurance team, for a full-time engagement, to join our team of passionate IT professionals.

As a Technical Requirement Engineer for Azure API and Microservices, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical requirements related to the development and implementation of API and microservices solutions on the Azure platform. Your expertise in Azure services and strong understanding of software development principles will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of scalable and efficient solutions. You will work in an agile scrum team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and architects, to understand business needs and translate them into clear and concise technical requirements for Azure API and microservices projects.
• Analysis and Documentation: Conduct in-depth analysis of business and technical requirements to identify potential challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Document requirements, use cases, and functional specifications for effective communication and future reference.
• Azure API and Microservices Design: Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and efficient API and microservices solutions on the Azure platform. Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
• Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Present technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure services, API, and microservices technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to existing systems and practices.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in technical requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for API and microservices projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in API design principles, RESTful architecture, and microservices patterns.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for API and microservices.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks, such as .NET, Java, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with security standards and protocols, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
