To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for a highly motivated employee for the position of a Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) that offers you the opportunity to join a fast-growing technology

Responsibilities
● Provide leadership and mentorship to other DevOps engineers, guiding them in best practices,
methodologies, and tools, regarding setup, deployment and release standards
● Drive process improvements within the DevOps team and across the organisation, ensuring
quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
● Build team capacity and improve individual skills regarding deployment, providing scalable
infrastructure, automation, monitoring
● Facilitate communication between different technical teams within delivery
● Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other teams to ensure the
best results.
● Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring their resolution and timely delivery
● Participate in presales initiatives and project estimates (for setup and deployment activities)
● Cooperate with a team in preparation and execution of the deployment process
● Hands on participation in CI/CD builds, and environments creation
● Expertise on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
● Ability to absorb and convey detailed technical information
● Are used to prompt reacting to system notifications and making sure the downtime is minimal
● Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
● Monitor and improve deployment and release processes and procedures in line with latest
release technologies
● Define, track, and report on key infrastructure-related metrics to stakeholders, providing
insights into the overall health of the systems.
● Identify and assess risks associated with deployment and release processes, developing
strategies for risk reduction through contingency planning.
● Skillful in existing tools required to automate, test, deploy, manage, and monitor applications
● Evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies, and support their adoption if and where it
improves efficiency and effectiveness.
● Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and
Cloud engineering.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, software engineering, or a
related technical field
● Extensive experience in DevOps and Cloud engineering, including working experience with cloud
environments (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, microservices architecture
● Proficient in tools required to automate, test, deploy, manage, and monitor applications
● Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, and GitLab
● Excellent knowledge of infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g. The Elastic Stack, Zabbix,
Nagios)
● Strong background in Linux administration
● Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks among multiple or changing priorities
● Strategic thinking and ability to align DevOps efforts with broader organisational goals and
objectives.
● Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively build, lead and scale DevOps team to
meet workload and efficiency
● Enjoy mentoring junior DevOps and development team members, or would like to have this
opportunity in the future
● Good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential
● Strong advocacy for automation throughout the software development lifecycle, with a focus on
continuous improvement.
● Prefer to work on agile software development projects with remote teams
● Have at least 5 years of DevOps experience, at least 2 years in leading teams
● Have at least 1 year of experience with setting up and managing production environments on
AWS
