We @Holycode are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounting Team Lead to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will lead a team of accounting professionals, ensure compliance with local regulations, drive process improvements, and help build scalable financial operations in a dynamic and fast-growing international IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 finance and accounting specialists across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Maintain statutory accounting records and ensure full compliance with local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to support business growth and increase efficiency.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Supervise client billing processes, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual agreements.
- Monitor financial workflows and proactively identify and resolve accounting and billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with CFO, department leaders, external accountants, and tax advisors to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Coordinate and support external audits and compliance reviews.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting, tax, and financial regulations, ensuring timely implementation within the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and management
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and financial analysis.
- Strong ERP systems experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is considered a significant advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
